How To: Tie a tie

Hey guys! This weeks blog is a little bit different and today I am going to teach you something that you probably will need to know when you get older whether it is for a job interview and even for your wedding! I am going to guide you on how to tie or own tie in 8 easy steps.
This tying technique is called the "Half Windsor" knot. There are 4 main techniques for tying a tie but today I will show you how to do the Half Windsor. I have recorded a video of me teaching you How To tie the tie.

Here we go:

Step 1:
Wrap the tie around your neck with the bigger flap on the right hand side of your body. Make a cross with the bigger flap on the top and the end of the smaller flap closer to your neck.

Step 2:
Pull the big flap towards you and out towards the front.

Step 3:
Now do the same, but on the other side of the Tie. Make sure you end up with a 'Y' shaped figure. Pull the big flap and make sure everything is tight and neat.

Step 4:
Take the big flap and cross it over the 'Y' shape from the right side to the left.

Step 5:
Similar as step 1, do the same and pull the tie out, from the big hole.

Step 6:
Insert the big flap into the loop hole, making sure everything is neat and tight. You should end up with a trapezium on your chest.

Step 7:
With your index finger and thumb, pull the small side of the trapezium towards the ground and pull the big flap to make it tight. Repeat this until you get a good looking 'V' shape.

Step 8:
Now with your left hand, pull the small flap of the tie towards the ground and with your right hand pull the 'V' shape towards your neck. *Remember to keep it straight!

Adjust the tie to your liking and don't make it too uncomfortable for you. Pull down your collar.
Well done! You have tied your first ever tie!

Dont watch WWE wrestling!

Week 5 Blog
Ever wondered how WWE wrestlers can back up onto their feet after falling off a 5 meter steel cage? Well this post is about how WWE wrestling is fake. First of all, everything you see on T.V. is for entertainment. Here are some points that will make you think twice when watching WWE.

Punching:
When a wrestler punches his opponent, he is actually touching him with a half clenched fist. The fact that the opponent is also in on it, he makes the punch look like its the hardest hit ever by jumping up making a loud noise from his feet stomping on the canvas padding. When he punches the guy, he stomps his foot on the canvas making a very loud noise thinking that his fist made such a loud noise. Which comes to my second point.

Staging:
Did you know that underneath the soft canvas padding of the wrestling ring is huge microphones and loud speakers? I bet you didnt. As the guy is punching his opponent or body slamming him into the ground it doesnt sound as loud when falling on a padded cushion, but just to make it louder, they put microphones and loud speakers at the bottom to make it louder and make the audience go ouch, thats gotta hurt.

Body Slams and BLOOD:
Ever wondered how they do body slams perfect every time? Well think no more because it is all staged and practiced over and over. When doing a body slam they protect each other instead of hurting them. For example when Undertaker (professional wrestler) is slamming Triple H (professional wrestler), instead of slamming his head down on the floor Undertaker supports his neck as Triple H gets a soft landing and landing flat on his back, which doesnt hurt as much.
Blood. The blood is real, but its not. When a wrestler gets a chair to the face, the automatic reaction for the referee is to go check on him and see if he is okay or not. But its not what you think it is. The referee is also in on it. The referee slowly gives the wrestler that got hit in the face a small drawing pin. With that drawing pin he slowly cuts himself with the pin, since they are trained professionals they know where to cut and which part of the head bleeds the most to add more drama to it.

Now that you have read about the truth of wrestling I hope you have a better understanding of it. So the next time you watch it on TV or one of your friends tell you about it, think of it as plain entertainment and not a sport.

Because of You: Week 4

Well the obvious reason for who I am today is my parents. Without the support and motivation from my parents I wouldn't be the person I am today. My parents have taught me how to make the correct decisions in life, which comes into my other point. I am also part of why I am the person I am today. I have made a couple of mistakes when I was young and learning from your mistakes make you a much better person, due to experiences that you have had in your previous years.
There is a famous commentator on YouTube which I subscribe to and watch his videos daily. He has lots of fans and around about 10% of his are haters that just talk trash about him and the content that he puts up. So the other day he uploaded a video about how he treats others well as long as that person does not treat him the way he feels like he is supposed to be treated. Tom Cassel is his name and you might know him as Syndicate. He motivates me to treat my surroundings well and respect them. Unless they decide to disrespect me.

My parents have taught me to think in a positive way, and that allows me to do things that I never thought I would have been able to. For example, I had to do a speech in front of around 200 people about my school experience and I doubted myself. I always thought I would be scared and stop the speech mid way but, they have told me not to worry about it and it goes how it goes, but you have to have a positive mindset.

My friends also made me the person I am today. I have had a couple of problems in school that I needed help with and my friends have told me the right path to solving problems which made me learn from that.
I am grateful of the people I have around me, and helping me to make me the person I am today.

Check out this video that I was talking about.

5 things I hate about AirAsia

Here’s a Topic for you. Top 5 things I hate about Air Asia.

Number 5 on my list is I hate the fact that you have to walk to the furthest gate of the Airport to leave the country, no matter where you are in the world, whether you are departing or arriving. It is just very annoying that you have to walk so far, after a long time in an airplane and having to walk to the gate, not to mention walking on the hot tarmac at the LCCT airport (Malaysia).

Number 4 on the List is the flight delays. Every time we go on a holiday and decide to take AirAsia to somewhere near like Singapore or Malaysia, there's always a delay either arriving the destination or trying to leave the country, because the plane is never on schedule. Out of 5 flights lets say about 3 of them are always late, and this is another problem other passengers complain about too. And another thing is once the delayed planes arrive, it takes them about 20-30 minutes for them to inspect the plane and then it goes off flying again.

Number 3, I hate how the journey to the destination is always very bumpy and not smooth. Its like there are potholes in the sky, Unlike the other airlines like Garuda or Singapore airlines. When the plane is descending it feels like your ears are about to explode. It's the same feeling you get when you descend too quickly when scuba diving. It hurts a lot and AirAsia should control this to maintain the passengers safety.

Number 2 on my list is the Landing, the landing on AirAsia feels like the pilot had no training whatsoever. There was this one flight where the plane felt like it had no brakes so they had to press it harder and it turned out he had pressed it too much and our bodies acted as if we were rag dolls and were sling shotted to the back of the passengers seat it front.

The Number 1 thing i hate the most is the fact that we have to be mindful about how much we carry in our luggage. Whenever we fly AirAsia we always end up having to pay for over weight baggage and it cost a bomb. It costs around 9 dollars a kilo and one time we were 14 kilos too heavy. I feel that AirAsia ha lost its point of being a low cost airline. With all the hidden cost like food and baggage it is probably the same as using Garuda which is better. That is the final reason why my family think 10 times before flying with AirAsia.
