Summer of 2012

There's only one word that describes my holiday the best. Eventful.
This holidays i went to Perth, Australia. I went to different areas in
WA like Perth, Margaret River and Mandurah. I did several things in
these different places. We left Bali with a couple of friends and
their family, which was a total of 12 of us. My sister, who studies at
Curtin University met us at the airport and said our hellos. Our first
stop was Mandurah. Mandurah is another city that is south of Perth and
from the airport it takes around an hour and fifteen minutes. It was a
smooth car ride there comparing it to the roads of Bali, reckless
motorcyclist and potholes free. The next day at Mandurah we went out
on a 30 minute ride on his boat. We went out the canal and saw
dolphins playing with us. And also saw huge pelicans the size of Joe,
LOL. We stopped at a café and parked the boat on the Jetty and had
breakfast there. It was the best Eggs Benedict that I have ever tasted
in my life.
We did the same thing for 3 days. We also did adventurous activities
as well. After 3 nights have passed, we headed south to Margaret River
to visit a friend and stay there for 3 nights. In Margaret River I had
a blast! We went everywhere, Chocolate Factories, Wineries (for the
parents), Cheese factories and a cave called Lake Cave. Lake Cave is a
cave that is 500 years old and was found by a man. All he used to
explore the cave was ropes to bring him down and candles for some
light. The cave was 500 steps down and not to mention, the stairs were
slippery. It was a really good experience going down there and the
tour guide turned off all the light for 30 seconds and it was pitch
black. I had a great time in Australia will definitely coming back
soon.

  1. Hi Ryan, your trip to WA sounds like lots of fun. It's funny that you noticed the nice road to Mandurah, as many tourists to Bali notice the opposite right away. It sounds like you had a very relaxing time, driving around in boats and eating eggs benedict everyday......very tough life, but somebody has got to do it! The cave sounds really cool also.
    Good luck with work experience.
